Paige VanZant will once again enter some uncharted territory in her combat sports career as she makes her traditional boxing debut against Misfits middleweight champion and British social media influencer Elle Brooke on the latest X Series card from MF and DAZN.

VanZant, who first gained notoriety in mixed martial arts where she got off to a 6-1 start including a 3-0 run in the UFC, was last seen in an unsuccessful transition to bare-knuckle boxing.

The 30-year-old lost two fights with BKFC in 2021 and has been quiet on the combat sports scene since.

Now, she'll try her hand in the crossover boxing world against a fighter in Brooke who has had five fights between pro and exhibition endeavors.

It's a chance for VanZant to win a belt and gain some momentum in a niche that might just be perfect for her skillset and marketability. Here's all the info you need to catch the fight along with a preview and prediction.

This fight serves as the main event with a bout between former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell and Tristan Hamm also going down on the card.

The Misfits Boxing promotion, which was founded by YouTuber and former Logan Paul rival KSI, has put together quite a few notable crossover boxing matchups. Adding VanZant to the list of their athletes is something they are hoping will add some legitimacy to their offerings.

"X Series 15 will go down in history as the night the female division, in all of crossover boxing, was taken to a whole new level," Misfits, Co-President Mams Taylor told media.

There aren't odds available for the fight, but one would think that VanZant would have to be a big favorite. Her UFC career might not have ended up producing any championships, but she did stick around in the organization for nine fights, going 5-4.

That being said, Brooke has more boxing fights than VanZant and she's shown some improvement. She beat AJ Bunker in an exhibition match by decision to kick off her foray into boxing but knocked her out in the third round to win the MF middleweight championship in her last appearance.

VanZant's foray into bare-knuckle boxing doesn't inspire a ton of confidence, though. She lost unanimous decision to Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich. Hart, however, was a professional boxer and went on to win the championship in the strawweight division.

Prediction

Ultimately, there's just too much of a skills gap between these two for VanZant to lose. Her boxing record might not look great, but when you consider the talent she was facing and the level of boxing Brooke has faced in crossover bouts.
