Currently, Mr. Sperling is the Senior Vice President and Director of the Apollo Group and its educational institutions. He is also the co-founder and Chairman of FuzeBox, Inc., formerly known as Callwave, Inc. The company started as a fax and internet answering machine company but now focuses on movie editing and video conference call platforms to remain profitable.
In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Sperling sponsored Proposition 7 in 2008, which would have required all utilities in California to get 50% of their power from renewable energy by 2025.
