Raquel Leviss’ facetime video, which was recorded without her permission, led to Tom Sandoval’s split with Ariana.
According to TMZ, Sandoval was not accused of recording the video, but Leviss claimed that it was recorded illegally.
In response, Leviss’s lawyers sent a legal letter to her co-stars, including Lala Kent, requesting that they delete the intimate s*xually explicit video.
Leviss’ attorneys allege that the video was recorded illegally without her knowledge or consent and cited California law against non consensual p*rnogrpahy.
In a since-deleted Instagram Story video on Tuesday, Kent, 32, called out Leviss for sending her the letter and suggested that Leviss’s lawyer send any material to her lawyer instead.
“Raquel, tell your little Mickey Mouse lawyer that if he has the stuff to send over, he can send things to my lawyer, same with the rest of my friends and cast, alright?”
“I don’t know if you know how this works. I know you’re pretty brand new to the game — didn’t last long — look what you did with your f–king 15 minutes,” Kent continued.
Kent also appeared upset that Leviss’s attorney had contacted her via her personal email rather than a lawyer’s email.
Kent has had a tumultuous relationship with Leviss over the years and is one of many Vanderpump Rules cast members to weigh in on the affair between Leviss and Sandoval.
The letter did not specify whether Sandoval had recorded the video, but it appears to be the same video that Ariana discovered on Sandoval’s phone.
According to an insider, the video has not been circulated among the cast, and no one other than Leviss, Sandoval, and Ariana has seen it.
When Ariana discovered the video, she learned that Sandoval and Leviss had been having an affair since the previous summer and had been communicating inappropriately ever since.
Sandoval and Madix, 37, had been dating for nine years before the news about the former’s affair broke earlier this month.
Leviss had even slept over at Ariana and Sandoval’s home when Ariana was out of town.
Ariana was blindsided by the affair and felt betrayed by Leviss, ultimately ending their nearly ten-year relationship.
Sandoval has issued a statement expressing his “anger and disappointment” but did not mention Ariana specifically.
The damage is reportedly too severe for the couple to reconcile, and they have both made it clear to friends that there is no hope of getting back together.
The scandal, known as “Scandoval,” is being filmed for Vanderpump Rules and will air before the reunion.
Fans can watch the show on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET, and Lisa Vanderpump will appear on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
The show’s matriarch, Lisa Vanderpump, will also be the first cast member to appear on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” airing on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
