Rhaenyra Baby Died In The Finale Episode Of House Of The Dragon.

Rhaenyra baby died in the finale episode of the season “House Of The Dragon.” House of The Dragons is a story that happened before Game of Thrones when Targaryens used to rule the empire. 

The last episode begins when “The Black Queen,” Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy), publicizes the death of King Viserys (Paddy Considine). 

The tragic death of her father and betrayal from the Greens that led her to early labor caused her to suffer great difficulties. 

Born immature, a child needs to go through modern medications to survive, but Rhaenyra Targaryen’s daughter Visenya was born healthy. 

After suffering terrible losses in the war, Rhaenya thrived to win the war against her half-brother Aegon. After killing her half-brother, she would rule the seven Kingdoms. 

What Difficulties Do Women Of House Of The Dragon Suffer?

In the house of the dragon, the episode begins by showing the death of Queen Aemma because she was cut open against her will, causing severe bleeding. 

For several days, Lady Laena struggled with her labor. She didn’t know whether she or her child would survive. 

So, she commanded dragon Vhagar to burn her alive. Rhaenya Targaryen has had five successful deliveries, but the sixth delivery of giving birth to her daughter, Visenya, was the most difficult one.  

How Did The Scene Play Out in ‘Fire & Blood?

In the episode, Fire & Blood, Rhaenyra was raging to take revenge on her half-brother, Aegon, who brought labor upon her. 

Rhaeyra was furious, and for three days, she cursed Prince Aegon and Queen Alicent. Later, she started to curse the child inside her. 

The situation took a brutal turn when Rhaenyra started to scratch her belly. She screamed at the baby inside her and called the baby a monster. 

Watching this situation, Maester Gerardys and the midwife restrained her until she could get her rage cool again. 

After the birth of George R.R, Martin’s version is a baby girl (Visenya) who is twisted and malformed. She also had a hole in her chest, and she had a short-scaled tail. 

Rhaeyra’s sixth daughter, Princess Visenya, was the first case of civil war casualties known as Dance of the Dragon. This sets Rhaenyra to take redemption against the Greens.
