Personal Statement

My mom is a big part of my work ethic. When she got cancer and never let it slow her down, always getting up and working it showed me what dedication was. I play and practice as hard as I can because I know nothing will be given to me but something can always be taken. Even when I am not playing I make sure I am doing everything I can. Whether it is pumping up my teammates for their at bat, or picking them up after a tough outing.

 Being apart of a team that went thirty and four and claiming the Regional Championship was amazing. However, losing the sectional semifinal game was the best lesson I could have received from the game. Everyone loses at some point but it is how you respond to losing that matters. I am looking for a program that will help me continue to grow as a player and a teammate. I know I can be a great addition to your team.
