Personal Statement

Hi, my name Samantha Cabrera but I usually just go by Samm. I am currently playing soccer for Mt. San Antonio Community College. This fall will be my last season, so I am looking to be a junior transfer in January or August of 2015. I've been playing soccer for about 12 years now and it has become such a huge part of my life. 

Being a college student athlete already, I know what it takes to succeed and I am more then ready to give it my all. I understand my responsibilities as an athlete on the field and a student in the classroom. It's always been a dream of mine to play at a 4 year college level, so with that said I would consider going just about anywhere to play. My greatest strengths on the field would be my leadership skills and speed. I am quick on and off the ball. I love to make those back post runs! I am a hard worker and understand that playing time is earned. I am willing to contribute to my team anyway I can.
