Scott Disick regularly flaunts his fleet of exotic cars but the TV star didn’t need the Kardashians for his expensive lifestyle thanks to his parents’ wealth.

Scott Disick isn’t known as The Lord for nothing. From his jet-setting adventures to his endless collection of luxury watches, it’s clear he appreciates the finer things in life. Who could forget the one period he paraded around with a cane and fur coat? It’s undeniable that Disick became a reality TV veteran thanks to his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian-Barker, but he came from a wealthy background beforehand.

Scott Disick inherited parents’ wealth a decade ago

Disick has an impressive net worth of $45 million in 2023 but Heavy says Scott’s parents, Bonnie and Jeffrey, had a combined fortune of $25 million. Since Scott was an only child, he and his grandparents inherited their wealth after their sudden death in 2013.

So how did the Disick family build their riches? Scott’s grandfather was reportedly an attorney who ventured into real estate. That explains why the 40-year-old has a knack for house-flipping.

However, MyFamilyGenie disputes that. They claim his paternal grandfather, David, was actually a dentist who studied at Tufts College Dental School in Massachusetts. Nonetheless, the family came from a wealthy background thanks to David’s lucrative career.

Bonnie and Jeffrey Disick died within months of each other

Born April 4, 1950, Bonnie was based in Long Island, New York at the time of death. She made two brief appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney & Kim Take New York in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

She died on October 28, 2013 at the age of 63, following a long illness. Her husband, Jeffrey, unexpectedly passed away less than three months later on January 3, 2014. He was also 63. At the time of death, Jeffrey was a real estate developer.

Reports claim he was battling cancer but his cause of death has not been released.

Their devastating deaths brought Scott and the Kardashians closer than ever, and he admitted his fear of losing his only family after KUWTK ended. Thankfully, their Hulu show was picked up.

In a 2020 episode of KUTWK, Disick reflected on his relationship with his late parents while flicking through childhood images with his son Reign, who was born one year after their deaths.

“You know, I don’t think I was really ready to talk about my family but now I think the more I talk about my parents the more my kids will feel connected to them and remember them,” he said. “That’s the only way that they’re gonna ever feel that connection.”
