Personal Statement

I'm extremely interested and excited to continue exploring options for me to play college soccer. I am currently a Sophomore at Cathedral Catholic High school in San Diego. I am a 2021 graduate and a forward/midfielder for both my Varsity high school soccer team as well as my club team SoCal Blues. My freshman year at Cathedral Catholic was very successful as I was a starting freshman on varsity soccer and a varsity runner in track and field.

I am a multi-sport athlete and have been a member of varsity soccer for two years now. I was very fortunate to be able to attend the ECNL PDP Mountain Training Camp in Las Vegas this last year and the ECNL/id2 National Training Camp in Portland. I am on the Southwest All Conference Team and most recently my ODP SoCal 03 Winter 2019 Team won the Far West Championships. As I have been playing soccer since I was three my passion and love for the game is infinite.

In the classroom and on the field I push myself to achieve my goals and I never lower my standards. I want to play at the highest level of competition so that I can grow and develop as a player. Although soccer is a big part of my life I have learned to balance it with my school work and with track. Over the course of freshman year in track I achieved the "Female Athlete of the Year" award in track and field and I was placed in the hall of fame for my leadership as an underclassman. I hold the freshman record in the 400m with a time of 56.8. As a competitive athlete I look forward to continuing my love for the game into a University.
