Southampton have signed 16-year-old Jayden Meghoma from Tottenham Hotspur on an initial scholarship deal.
Meghoma follows the arrival of fellow teenager Sam Amo-Ameyaw from Spurs, who signed last week.
The Athletic reported both moves in July.
On his move, Meghoma said: “I think it’s one of the best pathways in the Premier League. There’s a very clear pathway as a youth.

“I’m a defender but I’m a very attacking one, I feel like I can attack really well, and I can defend really well, and I have a unique trait of my speed as well.
“Everyone is welcoming, and they’ve made it feel like home straight away.”
The two 16-year-olds will join the south coast club for a fee believed to be around £1million, with Tottenham receiving that amount in compensation due to their age.
Both Amo-Ameyaw and Meghoma can only sign a professional contract once they turn 17.
It is expected the highly-rated duo will not immediately be part of Ralph Hasenhuttl’s first-team set-up.
Southampton head of youth recruitment, Dan Rice, added: “We are delighted to complete the signing of Jayden, who adds to our current England U17 player cohort.
“Jayden is an exciting acquisition for the academy and for the future of the club.
“Jayden is a modern-day left-back, who possess a confident ball-playing manner combined with an energetic capacity to his game.
“He is dominant in defensive one-v-one duels and provides excellent technical qualities in attacking moments.”
