Taylor Douple's Softball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

    My name is Taylor Douple and I am a Senior at Northern Lebanon High School in Fredericksburg, PA.  My passion is to be working in the dental field.  I plan on majoring in dental hygiene. 

    I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and my love for the game keeps on getting stronger and stronger. The game of softball makes me a better person, a better teammate, and a better all around athlete. Softball shows me how to be a better person on and off the diamond. 

    School has always and will always come before sports because I know without good grades its difficult to make it to college. Softball is just an added bonus to college. I have a 3.89 GPA and I am in the  National Honor Society and I am a student council member, Varsity Club member, Spanish club and Mini thon. In my free time I help out at a nursing home named Cedar Haven. 

    I have been a High School Varsity Starter since my freshman year. I started playing centerfield and batted in the 2 hole. I strive to still be a starter my next 3 years of High School. I made Lancaster Lebanon County All Stars as a centerfielder for past two years. I have also taken up tennis my junior year as a fall sport.
