HBO Max series The Head season 2 cast members include John Lynch, Katharine O'Donnelly. Moe Dunford and Ben Cura are among the major roles as well.
The only recurring cast in the first three episodes of season 2 include John Lynch and Katharine O'Donnelly, they are on season 2 to reprise their role of biologist Arthur and doctor Maggie respectively. Plenty of new faces will be seen in the second season, according to Variety, 20 new actors from 10 nationalities will be seen in The Head season 2.
John Lynch Plays Dr. Arthur Wilde
John Lynch will reprise the lead protagonist character Arthur Wilde in the HBO Max's The Head season 2.
Arthur is a biologist working in the research station at the North Pole, but he needs to be an excellent detective to solve a mysterious murder and disappearance of his team members. The murderer is on the loose and his wife missing, Wilde must act quickly and trust Maggie to find out what happened at the isolation.
John who portrays Arthur is an Irish actor and novelist. He was born in Northern Ireland to his Irish father Fin Lynch and Italian mother Rosina Pavone. He spent most of his childhood and teenage in Northern Ireland and started acting in his hometown as well.
Lynch has appeared in several movies and television series including Cal, In the Name of the Father, The Fall, and The Banishing among others. He has won AFI (AACTA) Award for Best Actor for his appearance in Angel Baby.
Katharine O'Donnelly Plays Dr. Maggie Mitchell
Katharine O'Donnelly will reprise her role of young doctor Maggie Mitchell in the second season of The Head.
Maggie is the sole survivor of the research station who has been shaken to her bone by the incident at the facility. She must guide biologist Arthur to locate the missing and solve the murder mystery.
Katharine who portrays Maggie grew up on the Isle of Arran in Scottland. She made her acting debut back in 2018 with Clique according to her IMDb profile, she now has 4 acting credits altogether. While her professional debut might have come late, she wanted to become an actor since the age of 8 years old.
According to Sunday Post, she had performed several key roles during her school years in school plays and dramas. However, at the time she landed her career-changing role in The Head, Katharine was working at a bar.

Moe Dunford Plays Alec Kurtz
Moe Dunford joined season 2 of The Head as Alec Kurtz.
Alec's job is to maintain security in the container ship, the vessel where most of The Head's season 2 has been shot. However, keeping everyone's heads intact and not letting anyone go serial killer in the 150-meter-long container freighter is not an easy task.
Moe who plays Alec in The Head is an Irish actor. He was born on December 11, 1987, and he is currently 35 years old as of 2022. He is best known for his appearance in the television series Vikings, where he portrayed the role of Aethelwulf for 36 episodes between 2014 and 2018.
Dunford made his professional acting debut in 2007 as Paul in the short film The Hidden, he has since accumulated 37 acting credits in his IMDb profile.
Ben Cura Plays Liam Ruddock
Ben Cura will be a new addition to the cast of The Head season 2 along with his character Liam Ruddock.
Although much about Liam's role in the television series is under wraps, for now. He will prove to be a crucial character for the overall outcome of the series.
