The True Story Behind Shelly Miscavige’s Disappearance

Shelly Miscavige’s disappearance news has been a reason for panic over the internet for quite a long time now. 

Michele “Shelly” Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige, has not been seen in public for over a decade, sparking concern among those interested in her whereabouts.

As a child, she spent most of her time on Hubbard’s ship, the Apollo, and starting at the age of 12, she worked within a subset of Hubbard’s Sea Org. called the Commodore’s Messengers Organization, helping to take care of Hubbard.

Shelly Miscavige eventually married David Miscavige in 1982, who at the time was also a dedicated follower of Scientology. However, as David rose in power, eventually becoming the leader of the organization, Shelly Miscavige reportedly found herself in danger, according to former Scientology members.

As the “first lady” of Scientology, Shelly Miscavige held several important roles, working with her husband and helping to pacify him when he became agitated with other members. According to reports, she even led the project to find a new wife for Tom Cruise in 2004.

However, according to former Scientology insiders, Shelly began a project in late 2006 that would ultimately lead to her downfall. 

She restructured the Sea Org.’s “Org Board,” which had previously been revised to her husband’s satisfaction, and this caused her to fall out of favor within the organization. 

This led to her mysterious disappearance in 2007, and despite speculation and rumors, the exact details of what happened to her remain unknown.
