Tori Roloff has addressed job assumptions just days after she announced her departure from Little People Big World with her husband, Zach Roloff, on their Raising Heights podcast.

The Little People Big World stars sat down to reveal they “don’t have a traditional 9-to-5 job”. Stay-at-home mom of three Tori Roloff told listeners she gets “offended” when people make assumptions.

Tori Roloff sat down with husband, Zach Roloff, to read out assumptions sent into their podcast by fans. When she saw one assumption that says they don’t work, the TLC star said she “take a lot of offense”.

“I think we work very hard every day of our lives, for sure,” Tori exclaimed. “We don’t go to a 9-to-5, but the assumption we don’t work is so silly, and I get that a lot.”

“Take away everything with social media, the show, all of that, for me personally, to tell a stay-at-home mother they ‘don’t work’… Honey, I work harder than anyone else out there,” she said.

Tori spoke of how “you can never win” regardless of which path you choose. She said, “If you’re staying at home it’s like, ‘Why aren’t you working’, but if you go to work, like, ‘Why don’t you raise your kids.'”

However, Zach chose to see their world from fans’ views and responded: “I can see what people are saying, not the stay-at-home mom part,” before Tori said they are “blessed to be able to stay home”.

She said they can stay home due to “outstanding circumstances” before recalling a 7-to-5 job as a teacher for years. “School teachers never get to actually go home and not think about their job,” she said.

They say no to future babies

When a fan wrote in to say they “want to have one more baby,” Zach said it’s “false”. They both confirmed it’s “definitely not true” before Tori spoke of how “very content” they are”.

She added that she is “not pregnant” before telling listeners, “I’ve been working very hard to work out and get into shape so stop asking. We do not want more children.”

“I feel like because of how much we’ve talked about this topic, I feel like it’s going to happen and people are going to think we’ve lied. We don’t want another kid – I do feel bad saying that, though,” she added.
