Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Taylor is coming off an impressive 2015 season, throwing for 3,035 yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also ran for 568 yards and four touchdowns.

Taylor was smart to cash in sooner rather than later as it's important for him to capitalize on the value provided from a quality 2015 season. The Bills will depend on Taylor as a leader on offense as the team looks to make a playoff run in 2016 and beyond.
