Ahead of the Buffalo Bills' matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card round, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul took a jab at Steelers fans that intend to travel to the game.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul addressing the weather &amp; Steelers fans:<br><br>"We think it's just better if you (Steelers fans) stay home and tune in on television. It's going to be safer for all of us. It's going to be a rough game for you anyhow." <a href="">

"One final bit of advice, and this one's for our friends who are thinking about traveling from Pittsburgh to watch the game," Hochul said. "We think it's just better if you stay home and tune in on television. It's going to be safer for all of us. It's going to be a rough game for you anyhow."

Per WIVB 4, high winds, frigid wind chills and blowing lake-effect snow are expected "before, during, and after" the game. However, an NFL spokesperson revealed that the league is not planning on changing the contest's location or start time.

The Bills have already begun preparations for dealing with the snow, with the team officially asking fans to assist with shoveling throughout Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The inclement weather will likely alter the offensive approach for both teams, as both coaches might lean heavily on the run game. This could favor the Bills, as Buffalo owned the NFL's No. 7 rushing attack in the regular season. The Steelers weren't too far behind as they ended the regular season with the No. 13 ranking, led by former Pro Bowler Najee Harris as well as Jaylen Warren.

Kickoff in Buffalo on Sunday is at 1 p.m. ET.
