Lara Amersey's husband, Alex Jordan, is a producer and senior vice president of production at Muse Entertainment.

He is also a member of the Director's Guild of Canada. With many years of experience, he mentors the students at Toronto Film School and the Canadian Film Centre. Alex has worked on 50 different productions and succeeded with each one.

His production success led him to serve on the Canadian International Fashion Film Festival (CANIFFF) and Toronto Film School board. His work as a production manager for the action series Nikita, Transporter, and Rouge was highly praised. 

He has been utilizing his experience in the northern region of Ontario for the past four years. He has been working on several of the Northern Heritage Fund's first feature films and has been involved in developing its film center.

In January 2022, he became the senior vice president of production at Muse Entertainment and will focus more on producing programs for the international market. According to Alex, Toronto is an exciting and diverse city for filming, and with Muse Entertainment, he wants to create premium content for the international market, Variety reports.

He has also worked on a project known as Headcase, a web series played on IndieGoGo, and the purpose of the series is to raise marketing funds for the release of feature films.
